Eildon Finance is a modern accountancy firm based in the North East using cloud applications to serve clients across the UK. We are a "Xero" Certified Adviser & Silver Partner, "Hubdoc" Certified Partner & "Fluidly" Accounting Partner.
We are a modern practice using cloud-based accounting & other financial software. This allows us to engage with our clients dynamically in real-time, regardless of location.

Xero is the industry-leading cloud-based accounting software for small and medium-sized (SME) businesses. Hubdoc is integrated with Xero providing invoice data capture. Fluidly is integrated with Xero and produces short and medium-term cash flow forecasting that is vital to the management of all, and the survival of many, modern SME businesses.

Moreover, HMRC's Making Tax Digital (MTD) initiative means that very soon all taxpayers - individuals, partnerships, self-employed and companies - will need to keep their records in digital form using HMRC-compatible software. You need to be ready for this in good time.
About
Tom
I am practice Principal, and a chartered accountant (FCA - Fellow of the ICAEW). In my previous career, I have been CEO/COO and senior corporate executive in several household name international companies (Commodore, Unisys, Adobe, GE), as well as UK SMEs. I have also built and taken my own international business to an exit. I know what a business leader needs - financial or otherwise – to help manage and develop his or her company.
I think and act like a business manager first and an accountant second, and as such, I deliver much more than mere financial expertise. Most importantly, I am passionate on behalf of my clients and I care about them as people. I am not a consultant undertaking one-off or short-term projects; I only engage in long-term relationship roles and have first-hand experience of every matter that I advise on. It is important that we both, client and adviser, work together as a team to deliver your personal goals and those of your business and its stakeholders.

Having originally been accepted into St Andrews to study for a degree in mathematics, I regard myself as very numerate. A career in accountancy has been a natural step for me. I support our our clients with Bookkeeping, Payroll & AE Pensions and Company Secretarial matters. I also assist in the preparation of accounts and tax returns under the supervision of the Practice principal.
